    The inspiration

    Crochet Coral Reef and Lawson’s recovery both exceeded expectations, and both are ever evolving. The hyperbolic art project is an artistic response to global warming, while Lawson’s artistic engagement supports his recovery from brain injury and his environmental advocacy. They both highlight connections between art, art-making, community involvement, environmental reflection, and science.
