    What inspired Nature Boy?

    Musical engagement plays a major role in Lawson's healing journey and enhanced quality of life - from playlists offered during the coma months, to his enjoyment of music in the studio, to participating in bi-weekly music therapy sessions. Lawson is learning and recalling tunes to play on the keyboard; his ability to find correct notes and adhere to rhythm is remarkable. As Lawson’s musical abilities progress, another layer of complexity is added to the therapy sessions, and his brain continues to heal.
