    What inspired Spirit Bird?

    Xavier Rudd released his album Spirit Bird in the same year as Lawson's accident in 2012. We acknowledge the songs that resonated with family throughout the coma months as titles to his earliest paintings. Tentatively created, they mark a milestone in Lawson's healing journey and the emergence of his artistic expression c.2014.
